Innerouter is a heavy shoe-gaze, dream-grunge band hailing from Calgary Alberta, Canada. The band is comprised of TPRIL (The Wind Whistles) on vocals and guitar, Kirsten Aubrey (Curtains, Suzuki Jacuzzi) on drums, Sunny Dhak (Tegan and Sarah, Pride Tiger, Lushings) on guitar, and Brandon Garay (Lionz, Quiet Winter) on bass.

This diverse grouping of experienced musicians have come together looking to break out with this exciting new collaboration. After discovering a shared passion for emotionally cathartic performances and image infused lyrics, it was all green lights and itchy fingers for the group. 

The music will appeal to fans of Hum, Nothing, Spotlights or Deftones. It pushes the expected while creating a comfortable (enough) landing pad for listeners to let go into.  Lyrically, Innerouter explores themes such as the liminal spaces between real and virtual, awake and asleep, isolation and connection. 

The music is a soundtrack for an uncertain world…for people wanting to connect with themselves or with existential vibe of shared isolation.
